It is what it is...

We have an almost automatic tendency to attach a label of "Good” or “Bad" to just about anything. Most of those labels actually serve no purpose at all. If you find something negative it causes you distress but it usually doesn't change anything. The easiest way to train this is to start by not having an opinion about the weather. If you can't change anything it's that. The weather is always positive or negative for someone. Just how you look at it. Either you can sit in the sun, or the plants have water. Above all, your opinion about it is mostly irrelevant. You can use that energy for more important things. You can see this as the well-known "let it go". It is more of a "let it be". You can add a topic each time to master in this way. Baby Steps. It is an automatic habit that is as hard to break as quitting smoking. With persistence and repetition you develop new habits that are more constructive.
